With respect to D.R. v. County of Orange, et al., Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2022-01263856, which was considered by the Board in closed session on March 10, 2026, as SCS-4, the Board in closed session on March 10, 2026, unanimously authorized settlement of this matter in the amount of $300,000, with a $60,000 contribution from the foster home Aspiranet, for a total settlement amount of $360,000.  This matter involves allegations of foster home molestation of the Plaintiff in 2006.  A legal settlement with Plaintiff has now been reached.  When the settlement agreement is finalized, copies of the agreement will be made available through the office of CEO-Risk Management.
